If the Wrestlepack feel like kibbitzing, that'll be awesome, and I may well alter booking plans to either demonstrate why something's a bad idea in game or because someone comes up with something fun. The goal of this thread is to show people what the game's like, walk through some basics, and possibly create some new fans for the series. Because it's for-profit, it doesn't use the real world for its database, though mods are available/in the case of 2013, will soon be available for a great many real-world eras and a few eras of its fictional world, the Cornellverse. It's a text-based game where you play as a booker - the guy at a pro wrestling company who comes up with the storylines, assigns gimmicks, and sets how well everyone does. I've been playing the game since 2007, jumping on with that year's offering, and when it finishes public beta and is available for purchase this month, I'll be buying my fourth - TEW2007, 2008, 2010 and now 2013. So OK, this game series has now been going for technically nine years (since TEW2004), but actually since 1995, when the writer first put out a freeware wrestling booking sim.
